my new tripod.
no i'm not resting my nose against it, or picking my nose with it... its just the way the pic came out and its late and i'm not reshooting it.
expensive is a relative term, because i could have spent double what i did spend... but this is a quality tripod and ball head. i wish i was a bit more excited about it, like if i bought a new lens or something... but i guess its a life long neccisity accesory for photographers... so maybe it will grow on me.

hahah jim you're so funny.
congrats on the tripod.
and you're wearing the penn state tee!
wait.. i think its the penn state tee.
ahahaha
yup that is the penn state tee :)
nice dude. ball heads are kinda fun until you shoot with the 70-200mm f2.8 they they can be kinda rough for vertical. but thats when the tripod mount on the lens comes in handy
so much more awesome than whatever I have. nice. I'll probably upgrade to something like that someday; manfrotto is one of the best I hear
stop sweatin' my triod its mine...
i don't have the 70-200... does f4 come with the tripod mount? cause i'm lookin' at the f4.
i tried shooting with a cheap tripod when i was at lake elkohrn and it only added to the frustration of the day.
i found a spot i want to go shoot tonite... i hope i just don't get run over by a car.
i don't think the f/4 does. if your looking to use this lens for anything semi dark, such as weddings and such, you really wanna go for the f/2.8. f/4 would be way too hard to hand hold for anything, since i can barely do it with the 2.8
psh... all the gigs i thought were gonna be happening are falling through so... i'm gonna just be content with the equipment that i have.
