I remember when this whole thing went down. The reaction you got was so bizarre.
I don't spend a lot of time on photo.net anymore because people are silly there. I actually had someone on there tell me that a ring shot of mine was, and I quote, "too much in focus". They did not mean not enough depth of field - I asked them. They actually thought the picture was too tack sharp. Is that even possible? Silly!
By the way, I always liked that shot of yours. It's very out-of-the-box, but I assume that's the point!

photo.net is an interesting place, but i've realized that my overall rating is around a 4.5 which means between average and good and i'd say that that is an accurate assesment of my work, there are some amazing contributers to PN.
if you go look at that page though the reason why i posted was because I critiqued a recent picture from the original poster John Crosley and he said that my critique was spot on and that i've "earned my chops"
pretty much a year later after tearing me a new one he complimented me on my critique. its all here if you're interested. John and I have been having some interesting conversations latley too... its real weird people on PN are tottaly like opening up to me latley its real weird... ::shrugg:: i'm down.
photo.net keeps me humble. thats why I stay.
