10.11.07 - sorry

i spent all of tonite shooting and this is the closest you'll be to ever seeing it.

art comes with a responsibility.
sometimes, that responsibility is an explanation.
sometimes that explanation has the capability of ruining your art.
or maybe i'm just a perfectionist.

Well.... who took this shot? And on what background? If I tried to take that shot you would have loud thoughts in your head about whether or not you should let me pass with calling myself an artist. And in answer to your question do I think all artists are perfectionists... I'm not sure. There are artists that express their pain or their chaotic inner turmoil who I don't think worry about doing it "right." I think perhaps true craftspeople are obsessed with perfection. There is so much technique to master. Have a better day,
your art buddy...bon

Jim being a perfectionist is not a bad thing when it comes to photography or any art form.
I am a total perfectionist when it comes to my work.
A friend did my web site for me. I am not a happy camper about the end product. But he has improved it. Unfortunately I have no control on the final product.
I also don't use photo shop. Don't have it and have no clue how to use it. I do love digital photography though. It gives me the opportunity to take a lot of pictures with out having to pay to see the final result. Much more cost effective.

I hope your having a fun filled weekend. I am helping a friend at her estate sale. So no picture taking for me until Sunday. Just riding the motorcycle to and from her house, so I still get ride time. I haven't moved my car in days. Always a plus.
